Club La Santa

At Club La Santa, we often welcome guests with various kinds of disabilities. On top of our specially adapted and disabled friendly apartments, we strive to make our facilities as convenient and accessible as possible for everyone. Should you have any specific needs or requests, please contact us before your arrival to ensure that we can make any necessary preparations. 

Upon arrival you will find that our North Reception, located just next to the car/coach parking zone, offers a wide, automatic sliding door (1.90m), leading to a desk with a section that is only 1m high, making it easy for guests in wheelchairs to check in. The ATM and restrooms in the Reception area have both been designed to be easily accessible for everyone. 

The South Reception is located next to its own car park with reserved spaces for disabled users and an automatic sliding door (1.45m) into the Reception area provides easy access. There is adapted bathroom directly opposite the Reception.

Although we recommend that our disabled guests stay on the ground level, there are two lifts in the North apartment towers giving access the first floor. Furthermore, there are ramps with railings at various points around the resort, including one that enters our leisure pool. 

Circulation is easy via smooth ramps and surfaces around the new south area of the resort which also offers a range of user-friendly facilities for disabled guests: The Bike Centre is accessible by a long and gently inclined ramp, where tandem bikes and baby-joggers are available. Access via ramp and handrails is also provided at El Lago Restaurant. The Business and Conference is very user friendly being all on one level and the Multisports hall in the south area is accessible by smooth ramps.

Several of our public restrooms have been designed for disabled use - in the Conference Centre, in the disco in the Square - where you will find our bars, restaurants and evening entertainment;. Additional adapted bathrooms are located at the South pools, El Lago, business conference centre. There are also disabled friendly restrooms in the Wellness Centre, Reception and the Pool Bar.  

We offer a number of disabled friendly apartments (on ground level with wider doors and ramp access), as well as four specially adapted apartments, designed to meet all the needs of our disabled guests. Situated close to the North Reception, they allow easy access to our sports facilities, leisure pool and taxi rank. These spacious apartments offer wide, sliding doors and wide aisles for ease of access. Light switches are all placed at a convenient height for wheelchair users and the bathrooms are fully equipped with a free manoeuver areal, low sink, flip grab bars for the toilet and support bars in the shower. We also offer bathroom mobility aids for use in our other apartments, should they be needed.  

Three specially adapted Suites are also provided in our recently opened South accommodation area, all easily accessible by spacious walkways and ramps. These two bedroom suites have a spacious living area with direct access to lower-level kitchen workspaces, which also contain moveable floor-level units for flexibility. One totally adapted bathroom provides the comfort and access required for wheelchair users.
 

For those guests who would like to go out and explore Lanzarote, we can help to pre-book specially adapted cars or a bus. We also have an electric bike and tandem bike available to rent from our Bike Centre, for those with limited mobility who would like to see the sights more locally.
